Maruti Alto Car Review

July 2nd, 2011

For the smaller families and people with a fairly low budget the Maruti New Alto is the perfect choice. The compact hatchback gives a secure feeling to the driver and the people sitting in the car. The car is easy and economical on maintenance too as the spare parts of Maruti are very affordable and the services never to be doubted upon.

Cool, Design and Styling!

In the newer version of the Maruti Alto the rear seats are foldable giving a new dimension to the earlier version. The fabric of the seats available in the New Alto is different and definitely better than the previous one. The sticker badging has been provided at the rear side and the company logo on the boot giving a more stylized look to the car. The heater and ventilator rotary type air conditioner does a good job.

The wheel rim design has been changed for the good. The dashboard is again simple and plain but given in 2 tone colours. It has been given with a stiff chassis that makes the driving experience all the more enjoyable. The colours in which the New Alto is available are Blue Blaze, Ecru Beige, Superior White, Fire Brick Red, Silky Silver and Midnight Black. The design patterns and the colour scheme have worked magically on the car. » Read more: Maruti Alto Car Review

But for the past few years the French car manufacturers have been letting the side down in the style department with cars like the Renualt Aventime and Vel Sartis, Peugeot 1007, 3008, 4007, 5008 and any Citroen you can think of after the SM. Until recently, Peugeot had managed it just once with the wonderfully stylish 406 Coupe. Unfortunately that was styled by Pininfarina who are Italian so therefore doesn’t count. » Read more: Peugeot RCZ Independent Car Review
